WMU Program

New Online M.A. in Art Education from Western Michigan University

The Gwen Frostic School of Art at WMU is pleased to offer a new online master's degree in Art Education. The program provides new and established art educators with advanced professional preparation in curriculum development, pedagogy, action research, leadership, and advocacy in the visual arts. 100% online and designed to be completed in three years of sequential online coursework, the 30-hour program includes 18 credit hours of study in art education and 12 credit hours of electives chosen from a range of complementary disciplines.

With this online program, you can enhance your teaching skills wherever you are. Improve your students' learning, both in and out of the art room. Make your classroom more engaging. Make your art program what you want it to be.

Classes begin this fall. There's still time to register.
