Earn One Graduate Credit Toward's Your Masters Degree:

Michigan Art Educators planning to attend the Michigan Art Education Conference in October 2007 are invited to earn one graduate credit toward their master’s degree by completing 12 contact hours through Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI.

Educators earning this credit will be required to complete independent reading assignments during the summer months and one contact hour via email with instructor. 11 contact hours will be completed at the MAEA conference. This will include ½ hour meeting with instructor at beginning of conference, 4 and ½ hours in keynote sessions, 5 hours in workshops and one final hour with instructor on final day of conference.

Two-three pages of reflections on readings and connections made at conference will be due at the end of October. The credit will be graded as pass/fail.

Please contact Prof. J. VanReeuwyk at jpv2@calvin.edu for a reading list and initial instructions no later than June 30, 2007. Registration for this credit will be included in conference registration. Look for conference materials during this summer.
